So much truth on the food part. I have some close Italian friends who live in Milan most of the time but also have a house here in nearby La Jolla. Ive known them for almost 20 years and we go out to dinner with them a few times on each visit. We never go to an Italian place as they have never been to an Italian restaurant in the US that meets their standards, so they've given up trying.

The last time Pasta was allowed to raise its own child, the kid started hanging out with Germany. We took action so it wouldn't happen again.
And overcooked pasta will be sold with halibut.
